I chose TAFE SA to deepen my understanding of holistic care through the Certificate IV and Diploma in Community Services (Case Management). With over 10 years of experience as a registered nurse and community health worker, I wanted to gain practical skills that would transform my approach to community services. TAFE SA provided the hands-on learning I was looking for, and the support from experienced lecturers has been invaluable.
It also gave me the practical tools and real-life experience needed to transition from a student to a professional. The hands-on approach has taught me to address not only the physical but also the emotional, social, and spiritual needs of the people I care for. I began my journey in Adelaide with a 10-month English course at TAFE SA. From there, I continued my studies in hospitality at Le Cordon Bleu, focusing on Restaurant and Catering Management. After graduation, I gained valuable experience working for various businesses and restaurants.
Today, I am the proud owner of Cutboy Knife, a thriving business with two stores in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. Cutboy Knife specializes in selling cooking knives and kitchen equipment, and we offer services like knife sharpening, engraving, and woodworks for knife covers, handles, and boxes.
Looking back on my education, I can confidently say, "TAFE SA is well-respected in the hospitality industry and offered a great pathway to university through its English program.
